From a young age, Matt was drawn to the world of art. Whether it was sketching, painting, or working as an airbrush in his early 20s, customising cars and clothing. He’s always pursued creativity that never felt like work. With a background in mural work, graphic design, and branding, Matt brings a unique visual language to every piece he creates.

 

Matt began tattooing in Wollongong in 2014, laying the foundation for a craft built on a deep respect for art. Alongside tattooing, he operates his own photography business—two careers that continue to compliment and inspire one another.

 

Since relocating to Sydney in 2022, Matt has made it his permanent base, now working from The Hanged Man in Manly. He’s currently focused on growing his realism portfolio, while staying grounded in his roots: dark, black and grey tattoos known for their boldness, softness, and longevity.
